Firaxis will host a live Civilization VII developer panel on Sept. 5 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. PT at PAX West 2026 in Seattle’s Blue Dragon Theatre.
Ed Beach, Tom Shaw and Matt Owens are slated to discuss what comes next for the game while marking the Civilization series’ 35th anniversary, with Matt Schembari hosting.
The event will also stream on the Civ VII Steam page and the franchise’s Twitch and YouTube channels for fans not attending in person.
That forward look preceded Firaxis’ later reveal of the 2027 free “Arc of Tomorrow” update and paid “Earthrise” expansion, plus the Version 1.5.0 update due in September.
