Fisherman Films Alligator Chasing Bear Across Florida River, Ending at Shore

Captain Justin Morgan recorded a black bear swimming across the Kissimmee River near Lake Okeechobee with an alligator following close behind.
Morgan said he was bluegill fishing when the animal first looked like a wild hog from a distance, before the bear-and-gator chase became clear on video.
The pursuit ended without a clash: the alligator appeared to lose interest as the bear reached shore, looked back and walked into nearby woods.
The footage captured a rare encounter between two of Florida's best-known wild predators in a setting Morgan said was not something people see every day.
