Three camera features—Night, Single Take and Dual Recording—can be added back as dedicated modes on the Galaxy S26 FE through Samsung’s Camera Assistant app.
One UI 8.5 introduced the change and One UI 9 keeps it: Night now appears as a low-light toggle in Photo mode, Dual Recording sits in Video quick controls, and Single Take is hidden by default.
Camera Assistant, available in the Galaxy Store, lets users place all three options back into the Camera app’s More section for direct access.
Night may be the most useful to restore because the dedicated mode stays available even in borderline low light, instead of waiting for the phone to trigger it automatically.
