Summary
A third Burning Man attendee died after being transported from the festival toward a Reno-area hospital, Pershing County Sheriff Jerry Allen said.
Allen gave no details on the circumstances because the death occurred outside his jurisdiction; questions were referred to Washoe County authorities.
Two other men died at the Nevada desert gathering within about 48 hours: Sampson Tshombe was pronounced dead at the festival hospital, and 60-year-old Craigh Mann was found dead in a trailer.
Investigators found no outward signs of foul play in the first two deaths, and autopsy and toxicology results are expected in six to eight weeks.
The festival, which ended Monday and can draw up to 80,000 people, typically sees about one death a year, Allen said.
