Area15 CEO Winston Fisher said Interstellar Arc is effectively finished after the VR attraction stopped selling tickets last month and then closed less than a year after its October debut.
Felix & Paul Studios' ongoing financial problems drove the shutdown of the experience, which simulated an 11-light-year voyage from Earth to Arcadia aboard a spaceship.
Fisher said discussions are underway about whether the attraction can reopen, with an update possible within the next week or two.
Area15 is also redeveloping the former Illuminarium space, which closed in March, and expects to unveil a new large-scale experience there next year.
