Jeremiyah Love suffered a high-ankle sprain in Arizona’s first preseason game and will miss at least one week, putting his availability for the season opener in doubt.
The rookie running back had been viewed as a potential boost to the Cardinals’ ground game during a broad offensive reset under new coach Mike LaFleur and veteran quarterback Jacoby Brissett.
Arizona enters 2026 trying to recover from a 3-14 season that included an 0-6 NFC West record, 0-5 mark in field-goal games and 2-8 record in one-possession contests.
