Rick Scott told Fox News Digital in Dallas that Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries are not directing Democrats, arguing AOC, Hasan Piker and New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani now set the party’s message.
Scott tied that claim to culture-war attacks, saying Democrats back socialism and policies such as allowing men in women’s sports, and cast the midterms as a choice over whether Donald Trump’s agenda can continue.
Republicans are making that case at their Dallas gathering while facing headwinds from the Iran war, high gas and grocery prices, and a new trade fight with Canada as November approaches.
Scott still predicted the GOP would keep the Senate and warned that if Democrats win the House, they would move to block Trump’s agenda and pursue impeachment.
