Nineteen faculty from seven colleges and universities joined MIT in July for the inaugural weeklong AI Educators Pilot, designed to help instructors adapt AI teaching for disciplines beyond computer science.
Inspired by MIT’s Modeling with Machine Learning course, the workshop used demos, videos and hands-on exercises to show how core AI concepts can be taught through domain-specific problem solving rather than as a black box.
