At Maine, officials said a Turning Point USA event approved for Wednesday ended without incident and police were present, while other circulating materials included mocking flyers at Nebraska and alleged posts from RIT and Tennessee-Knoxville.
The controversy broadens what first appeared to be isolated campus posts into a wider anniversary flashpoint around Kirk, the 31-year-old Turning Point USA founder killed during a Utah Valley University speech.
