Sept. 1 court filings show former Cabell County EMS director Amos “Gordon” Merry III sued over alleged age discrimination that he says ended his county employment.
The complaint, filed in Cabell County Circuit Court in Huntington, names the Cabell County Commission, Cabell County Emergency Medical Services and Commissioner John Mandt Jr. as defendants.
Merry alleges the discrimination led directly to the end of his job, turning the dispute into a county-level employment case now before the circuit court.
