Sept. 12 brings a top-five showdown as No. 1 Ohio State visits Texas for a 7:30 p.m. ET Week 2 kickoff on ABC, with streaming available on Fubo and the ESPN App.
The game is the teams’ third meeting since January 2025, when Ohio State beat Texas in the Cotton Bowl CFP semifinal and then won the national championship.
Ohio State also opened this season with a 14-7 win over then-No. 1 Texas after routing Ball State 56-3 in Week 1.
Texas enters after a 9-3 season that left it out of the College Football Playoff, adding weight to an early test against the top-ranked Buckeyes.
