Probably not entirely, but it should make the sale more orderly and more transparent than the 2025 rush. The key change is that Oasis is replacing a broad public scramble with a registration-and-allocation model similar to Glastonbury’s. Fans must register by 17 September, and successful applicants will receive a unique, non-transferable code for a specific sale window on 25, 26 or 27 September. There will be no open general sale outside that process. That matters because it spreads traffic across multiple windows, limits the number of buyers hitting the site at once and makes it harder for touts and automated abuse to overwhelm the system. It also addresses the biggest reputational problem from 2025: pricing confusion. For 2027, standard UK ticket prices have been published in advance and are fixed at £71.50 to £266.60 including fees. After the backlash over sharply higher prices during the reunion sale, clearer pricing and controlled access should reduce anger even if demand still vastly exceeds supply. But the system cannot solve the basic maths. The 2025 sale drew roughly 10 million people into queues for a far smaller number of tickets. Even with 38 new shows, including four at Knebworth and two at Slane, demand is likely to dwarf supply again. Registration can reduce chaos; it cannot guarantee fairness in outcome for everyone or prevent disappointment. So the likely result is fewer technical meltdowns and fewer pricing surprises, but still an intensely competitive sale.
