At least one fake clip circulated after Texas’ 24-23 comeback win over Ohio State, even though Sarkisian only shouted “Texas fight, hook ’em” to Rowe before running off to celebrate.
ESPN had already moved to calm tension around Sarkisian’s postgame and halftime interactions, with Laura Rutledge saying technical issues delayed a halftime interview and that the network owed him an apology.
