Yes. The FPGB Mini’s tiny body may physically prevent bulky original accessories from fitting properly, including the Game Boy Camera. The key issue is not software support alone but the cartridge slot’s depth and the handheld’s extremely compact dimensions. At just 113 × 64 × 22 mm, the FPGB Mini is only slightly wider than a Game Boy cartridge itself. That design leaves little clearance for oversized cartridges and accessories that extend beyond the normal GB/GBC shell. Reports tied to the device’s early coverage say some “special” cartridges may be unsupported because of those slot-depth limitations. The Game Boy Camera is a prime example: unlike a standard cartridge, it has a large protruding camera module, making it much bulkier than normal game carts. If the FPGB Mini’s casing or slot recess does not leave enough room, the cartridge may not seat fully, connect reliably, or fit at all. The same physical limitation has already been noted with other unusual cartridges, such as ones with rumble hardware or battery bulges, which can be blocked by the handheld’s tight rear compartment. So even though the FPGB Mini supports original 32-pin GB/GBC cartridges in general, its miniaturized form factor appears to come with a tradeoff: classic odd-shaped accessories may be among the casualties.

FunnyPlaying disclosed that the FPGB Mini uses a 2.98-inch IPS display at 800 x 720, enough for 4x upscaling of Game Boy Color games on the shrunken Game Boy-style handheld.
The device plays GB and GBC cartridges and can run ROM files, with physical carts saving normally while ROM saves go to a MicroSD card of up to 32GB in FAT32 format.
A removable 1,800mAh lithium-polymer battery is rated for about 4 to 6 hours of play and 2 to 3 hours to recharge; the handheld measures 113 x 64 x 22 mm and weighs 135 grams.
FunnyPlaying said link-cable support requires its own proprietary USB-C cable sold separately, and warned that flash cartridges and clones may not work reliably.
The FPGB Mini also includes an original 32-pin GB/GBC slot, a 0.5W speaker and PD support, but FunnyPlaying still has not announced pricing or a preorder date.
