Summary
Seven missing women have now been tied to Eugene Horsch’s Philadelphia home, with investigators believing at least five are dead while no homicide charges had been filed as of Friday.
More than 1 million photos and videos were seized from the property, and police said they had reviewed less than a third of the material while already identifying four missing women in the images.
Chemicals, ammunition, drugs and a drum connected to the water system were found at the house, where FBI agents and police have repeatedly searched, including excavations outside, underneath and in nearby sewers.
Forensic psychologist Kris Mohandie said the evidence could point beyond a lone offender to profit-driven distribution of alleged snuff videos through an underground network.
The case grew out of Horsch’s June arrest on firearms, drug and forgery charges; his father, deceased pornographer RC Horsch, also drew scrutiny after violent writings and alleged links to the material surfaced.
