Summary
Apple updated its iOS and iPadOS 27 feature-availability page to confirm support for more than 30 new languages and language variants across Dictionary, QuickType, Siri and Visual Look Up.
QuickType got the broadest expansion, adding language support for dozens of entries including Afrikaans, Basque, Esperanto, Luxembourgish, Xhosa and Zulu, plus new autocorrection and predictive features for English (Philippines).
Siri’s “Activate with Siri” wake-word now supports French (France) and German (Germany), while Dictionary definitions and thesaurus entries added English variants for Australia and Canada.
Visual Look Up also widened its reach to eight languages, including Arabic (Saudi Arabia), Traditional Chinese in Hong Kong and Taiwan, Korean, Brazilian Portuguese, Thai and Turkish, extending iOS 27 localization across nearly 200 tracked features.
