Silicon Quantum Computing Names Ex-GlobalFoundries CFO John Hollister to Scale Commercial Push

John Hollister started as Silicon Quantum Computing’s CFO on Aug. 17, adding more than 25 years of semiconductor finance experience as the company moves to commercialize its quantum technology.
GlobalFoundries and Silicon Labs are central to that hire: Hollister was CFO at the foundry giant and spent 11 years in the same role at Silicon Labs, experience SQC says fits its manufacturing scale-up.
SQC plans to use him to build the financial infrastructure for growth as it expands atomic-precision manufacturing, deploys quantum-enhanced chips to customers and pursues business globally from Australia.
June’s appointment of Chief Legal Officer Karna Nisewaner and SQC’s role in DARPA’s Quantum Benchmarking Initiative show the company is broadening its leadership and external partnerships ahead of a larger commercial phase.
