At least three Flock Safety cameras in Jackson were found vandalized Monday, with silver spray paint obscuring lenses and duct tape partially covering one device.
Snow King Avenue cameras were among those hit: one license-plate reader was completely coated in paint, while another overlooking the National Elk Refuge showed silver paint dripping down its face.
A third camera at South Park Loop Road and Blair Drive had its lens partly blocked with duct tape, suggesting multiple methods were used across the network.
The damaged devices were supplied by Flock Safety, a surveillance company whose camera systems have drawn controversy in Jackson.
