A leaked engineering prototype video showed Qualcomm’s first 2nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 posting 4,327 single-core and 12,873 multi-core points in Geekbench 6.
Those results put it behind Apple’s A20 Pro in single-core performance—4,725 versus 4,327—but slightly ahead in multi-core, where Apple scored 12,575.
The chip uses a new 2+3+3 CPU layout with cores at 5.10GHz, 4.00GHz and 3.74GHz, marking Qualcomm’s first major cluster change in years alongside TSMC’s N2P process.
