Using a USB-C cable and 60W USB Power Delivery 3.1 adapter, the phone hit about 52W input in the first 12 minutes and reached 50% charge in 15 minutes before power tapered.
Apple has not said the device can reach a full charge in 55 minutes, and another test by Numerama measured a slower full charge of just over 67 minutes.
That gap suggests charging times can vary with equipment and test conditions; Numerama used an Anker Prime charging station, airplane mode and a wattmeter.
