Todd Monken said Watson looked more confident in Week 2, made key plays with his legs and showed clear progress in the Browns’ system after limited recent game action.
Carolina now appears set to face Watson in Cleveland’s home opener, easing immediate speculation that the Browns might evaluate a switch to Shedeur Sanders after the Tampa Bay game.
