Rabbit Halts R1 Production, Expands OS3 Agent to 5 Devices

Rabbit has stopped manufacturing its R1 hardware and is pushing OS3 as a standalone AI agent that no longer requires the device.
OS3 runs in the cloud while operating across Windows, Mac and Linux machines, and Rabbit says one account can connect up to five devices plus preferred AI models.
The system can also be accessed through a desktop site, Telegram, iMessage and the existing R1, with OS3 choosing the devices, files, apps and models needed for each task.
Founder Jesse Lyu told Wired Rabbit is still pursuing hardware, shifting instead to a vibe-coding “cyberdeck” slated to launch within months.
Rabbit says OS3 will not store, copy, use or sell user data, but chats and related memories remain on its servers and linked AI providers apply their own privacy rules.
