Braden Peters Charged With Rape, Drugging in Case Involving 17-Year-Old

Massachusetts prosecutors charged 20-year-old influencer Braden Peters with rape, drugging to facilitate sexual intercourse and an alcohol-related misdemeanor over a May 23, 2025 encounter at his family home in Chatham.
Court records say the woman, then 17, told police Peters invited her to make “looksmaxxing” content, arranged her Uber ride, knew her age and had her call alcohol “water” on a Twitch livestream.
Investigators said Twitch clips captured part of the night, including the teen saying, “Wait, I’m so drunk though,” and police concluded her intoxication left her unable to consent.
A judge found probable cause on Sept. 4, a criminal complaint was issued Sept. 8 and Peters is due to be arraigned Oct. 14; the woman reported the case to police on June 4, 2026.
Peters and his representative denied wrongdoing, arguing the allegation followed a civil lawsuit, while the case adds to earlier Florida legal trouble involving battery allegations and a livestream gun incident.
