WIM-Z Says AI Dog Robot Cut Barking 83% in Trials as $799 Units Ship Late 2026

Seven field trials from May to September 2026 showed WIM-Z reduced barking by up to 83%, with the strongest repeat-home tests dropping rates from 317 to 53 barks an hour and 161 to 40.
Four hand-built robots logged 50 sessions and about 60 hours, detecting more than 2,100 barks, making 107 autonomous interventions and dispensing roughly 500 treats.
The 11-inch tracked robot uses on-device AI to identify dogs, detect barking and decide when to give calming cues and treats, but owners still must position or remotely drive it because self-navigation is not in the first release.
WIM-Z says AI processing stays on the device; app activity data goes to an AWS relay server, live remote video and audio are encrypted, and optional highlight clips can be disabled or deleted.
First production units are priced at $799 with a refundable $99 deposit, with shipments expected from late Q4 2026 into Q1 2027 and automatic refunds if units miss Q2 2027.
