Travis Kelce Laughs Off Taylor Swift's Viral Touchdown Reaction After 101-Yard Chiefs Win

Q: Did Taylor Swift just accidentally reveal a secret marriage to Travis Kelce during her viral stadium celebration?

No. Taylor Swift’s viral “That’s my husband!” celebration did not accidentally reveal a secret marriage; by the time of the game, multiple outlets and public figures had already reported that she and Travis Kelce were married. The stadium moment went viral because NBC cameras caught Swift pointing to her ring and appearing to shout, “That’s my husband!” after Kelce’s touchdown. On its own, that line could have sparked speculation. But the broader reporting provided here says the couple had already wed in July in a private ceremony at Madison Square Garden, and later coverage referred to Swift’s wedding ring, their “nuptials,” and Kelce as her husband. Additional evidence came from people and organizations speaking as if the marriage was established fact. Chiefs coach Andy Reid referenced “the wedding,” Kelce himself joked on the “New Heights” podcast about doing his “deed as a husband,” and multiple entertainment and sports reports described the July ceremony in detail. So the viral clip was less a revelation than a public, high-profile acknowledgment of a marriage that had already been reported. The bigger football takeaway from the night was Kelce’s strong return to form: nine catches, 101 yards and a touchdown in the Chiefs’ 33-30 overtime win over Indianapolis.

Kelce said "the internet is having a good ole time" after Taylor Swift went viral yelling "That's my husband!" and pointing to her ring following his first-quarter touchdown Sunday.
Nine catches for 101 yards and a score powered Kelce in Kansas City's 33-30 win over Indianapolis, his first 100-yard regular-season game since Week 9 of 2024.
That performance also suggested more burst than he showed last season, when he still produced 76 catches for 851 yards and five touchdowns but looked less explosive.
A sharper Kelce would give Patrick Mahomes a more dangerous trusted target as the 2-0 Chiefs head to Miami to face the 0-2 Dolphins on Sunday.
