Thursday's remarks came as dueling rallies gathered outside Target Center for the third time this season, with supporters of Fever guard Sophie Cunningham met by pro-trans counterprotesters.
Reeve said her Aug. 2 "Trans Kids Belong" shirt became one of the season's most meaningful moments after messages from transgender people and parents who said the gesture helped their families feel seen.
