Apple Releases watchOS 27 With 12 New Features, Adding Siri App and Dynamic Grid

watchOS 27, released Sept. 14, rolls out 12 notable changes across supported Apple Watch models, not just the new Series 12 and Ultra 4.
Siri gets a dedicated app that syncs conversations privately over iCloud, while the Digital Crown now opens a dynamic app grid centered on suggested, frequent and recent apps.
Walkie-Talkie has been removed entirely, and a double press of the Digital Crown no longer opens the App Switcher because Apple has reserved that gesture for Live Rewind, a coming Series 12 and Ultra 4 feature.
Apple also merged Find Devices, Find Items and Find People into one Find My app, let Workout Buddy run without a nearby iPhone, and added cycle-tracking alerts tied to possible perimenopause for users 40 and older.
Series 12 and Ultra 4 get the most hardware-specific gains, including more accurate step counts and a real-time Steps complication, while all supported watches gain smarter Smart Stack suggestions and improved treadmill distance tracking.
