Summary
Pittsburgh sent cornerback Joey Porter Jr. to Dallas for a 2027 sixth-round pick and a 2028 second-rounder hours before Thursday night’s AFC North showdown in Cleveland.
Porter has not played this season and was already set to miss a fourth straight game, making the trade a roster move ahead of a matchup with first place on the line.
The 2-1 Steelers and 2-1 Browns meet for the 150th time at Huntington Bank Field, with the game framed as another fast, physical chapter in one of the NFL’s oldest rivalries.
Pressure up front could decide it: Browns tackles Spencer Fano and Tytus Howard have allowed a 13.5% pressure rate, while T.J. Watt has 17.5 sacks in 15 games against Cleveland.
