Summary
Patel and Wilkins revealed their engagement Sunday in social media posts, with Wilkins sharing a ring photo and the caption, “Went and got the law involved.”
The couple met in fall 2022 at John Rich’s Nashville home during a party tied to the release of his song “Progress” on Trump’s Truth Social platform, and were dating by early 2023.
Their relationship became more visible in Washington during Patel’s 2025 Senate confirmation hearing, when Wilkins sat in the gallery as he sought the FBI director post.
That visibility also brought scrutiny over Patel’s use of government jets and FBI agents for Wilkins, including trips to Britain, a Nashville hair salon and an event in Dixon, Illinois.
