A Kentucky man told the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization he saw a black, 7-8 foot figure about 40 yards from his truck after he and friends stopped at a rural lookout at night.
The group had first heard a distant knock, then a whistle drew what Clayton described as a response of sticks breaking, prompting them to drive off, return without leaving the vehicle, and scan the woods with a spotlight.
Clayton said the figure was so dark he noticed it only when it moved, and described an ape-like face, cone-shaped head and yellowish-green eyes before the group fled.
BFRO investigator Charlie Raymond said he found the witness credible after reviewing his written report, calls and video interview, adding the behavior matched other sightings he has documented in surrounding Kentucky counties.
