Summary
No. 4 is where Buffalo landed in Bleacher Report's Week 5 power rankings after its home loss to New England knocked the Bills from the top spot.
A 3-1 record now masks back-to-back uneven offensive showings, with Josh Allen again off target as the Patriots controlled most of the game outside Buffalo's strong second quarter.
New England, now 2-2, exploited Buffalo's mistakes and got a lift from Drake Maye, who found rhythm against a Bills defense missing its top cornerback.
Monday night's road game against the Rams now looms as an early test of whether Buffalo can correct the issues that have surfaced over the past two weeks.
