Summary
$1,279 is the official starting price for Xreal's Aura XR glasses, with preorders now open for customers who previously placed a deposit.
Aura comes in medium and large sizes, while buyers can choose between 12GB RAM with 256GB storage at $1,279 and 16GB with 512GB at $1,499.
The pricing puts Xreal just $20 below Meta's recently announced VR Glasses, with both products sharing mixed-reality features, a Snapdragon Reality Elite compute puck and a 70-degree field of view.
Xreal said Aura will ship "soon" in the U.S., Canada, Japan and South Korea, potentially reaching market before Meta's glasses, which are slated only for spring 2027.
