Google Launches Gemini Enterprise Agent Across 2 Platforms and Third-Party Apps

Summary
Google put a “universal” Gemini AI agent into private preview for enterprise customers, letting workers assign tasks from a single interface inside the Gemini Enterprise app.
The cloud-based agent works across mobile, desktop, the web, Workspace apps including Gmail and Docs, and third-party tools such as Slack and Microsoft 365 while keeping the same context.
Google said Gemini can route work to job-specific sub-agents, choose the AI model best suited to each task, and even act as a “coworker agent” with its own @agents.company.com email identity.
The launch extends Google’s broader push toward a single-window assistant for work, following its consumer-facing Gemini Spark agent introduced in May through a separate Gemini app interface.
