FOX Big Noon Kickoff Airs 2-Hour Lincoln Show Before No. 7 Indiana-Nebraska Game

Q: What unexpected moments will unfold when Nebraska's volleyball stars crash college football's biggest pregame party this Saturday?

The likeliest surprise is that Nebraska’s volleyball stars will become one of the morning’s biggest crowd-pleasers, not just a side segment on a football show. Harper Murray, Andi Jackson and Bergen Reilly are scheduled to join FOX’s Big Noon Kickoff for a live volleyball demonstration with the hosts in Meier Commons, and that setup creates the kind of unscripted TV moment pregame shows chase. With analysts such as Matt Leinart, Mark Ingram, Brady Quinn and Urban Meyer stepping into a volleyball drill, the segment could produce missed returns, awkward serves or a standout athletic moment from a football personality. Brady Quinn has already spoken positively about volleyball’s growth, which may add to the crossover appeal. The scene is also set for a broader showcase of Nebraska’s rare one-day, two-sport spotlight. Lincoln is hosting a sold-out football showdown with No. 7 Indiana while No. 1 Nebraska volleyball is also drawing major national attention this weekend. That gives the volleyball appearance added weight: it is not novelty booking, but a reflection of how central that program is to the school’s identity. Just as important, the fan energy may shape the segment. Reports point to a packed crowd, free giveaways, a best-sign contest and heavy campus turnout. In that environment, even a brief volleyball demo could turn into a viral moment if one of the Huskers schools the hosts, the crowd erupts, or the football broadcast briefly feels like a volleyball event.
