Summary
Live on Saturday Night Live, Shane Gillis blurted out the F-word during a Dr. Seuss sketch, then quickly corrected himself: “Jeez! Like ’em.”
The slip came as his character argued that his father would not eat green eggs and ham, with Gillis saying, “He said he doesn’t fucking” before stopping mid-line.
Closing the episode, Gillis appeared to address the mistake directly, telling viewers, “Sorry about earlier.”
The show marked Gillis’ third time hosting SNL, years after he was briefly hired and then fired when a video resurfaced of him using a racial slur.
