Summary
Day 1 of Head Trip was officially canceled after organizers halted the show and ordered attendees to leave the grounds and shelter in vehicles or shuttles.
Severe weather tied to Tropical Storm Rachel forced the shutdown as conditions worsened, even though the venue had seen only periodic showers earlier.
FISHER and Chris Lake were finishing their Under Construction back-to-back set when music stopped, and Calvin Harris was ruled out for the night.
Goldenvoice had already revised the schedule ahead of the storm, and organizers said they would provide updates on whether any workaround or rescheduling is possible.
