Summary
45-21 loss to Detroit intensified scrutiny on Arizona after news of Marvin Harrison Jr.'s trade to Houston surfaced just before kickoff.
Matt LaFleur said the deal was "not why we didn't play well," arguing the Cardinals' issues run deeper than any distraction from Harrison's exit.
LaFleur declined to discuss whether Harrison wanted out or why the 2024 No. 4 pick failed to develop in Arizona, saying the team acted in its best interest.
4 straight losses since a Week 1 win over the Chargers back LaFleur's view that the Cardinals' slump predates the trade drama.
