My FanCam can only crop within what the camera already captured, so it cannot recover missed action outside the frame. Early hands-on coverage has also noted that the effect can sometimes feel “floaty,” suggesting the edits may not always look natural. The broader One UI 9 package adds more value than the video tools alone. Features such as faster Interpreter conversation mode, customizable Now Brief cards, AI privacy alerts, scam detection, and improved document scanning make the update feel more meaningful as an all-around software upgrade. For users who regularly shoot video or post to TikTok, Reels, or Shorts, these AI tools could be a noticeable upgrade. For everyone else, they are best seen as smart conveniences rather than a revolution.
