Ego Nwodim answered Shane Gillis’s Saturday Night Live monologue with two Instagram Story posts, including a gym photo captioned, “Whore reporting for duty.”
The posts mocked Gillis’s line that women at the gym “dress like whores,” part of a monologue that drew backlash after the NBC show aired Saturday.
Nwodim, an SNL cast member from 2018 to 2025, followed with a meal photo captioned, “Getting my 30 grams of protein in after heauxing.”
Dan Levy also condemned the joke, writing that women in short shorts are not “whores” and calling the remark misogynistic on live national television.
