Huawei’s Watch 6 Pro Space Edition earns a strong review for premium titanium-and-ceramic hardware, smooth HarmonyOS 7 performance, accurate heart-rate tracking and battery life of about six days.
Testing found the 1.5-inch AMOLED display reached 3,637 cd/m²—above Huawei’s 3,500-nit claim—while dual-band GNSS tracked a 9.3-km ride closely but overstated ascent at 81 meters versus 36 meters on a Garmin Venu 2.
The watch also supports eSIM calling, 40-meter freediving, offline maps and more than 100 workout modes, with Huawei saying its revised X-Tap sensor can capture up to 11 health metrics in 60 seconds.
Its biggest drawback is software: HarmonyOS 7 still has a thin app ecosystem, with no native WhatsApp and limited voice-assistant support, reducing the value of standalone LTE use.
Priced at €679, the Watch 6 Pro is positioned as a premium health-and-fitness smartwatch, though the review says reflections, altitude inconsistencies and weak app support keep it from being a complete package.
