COROS Brings PACE 4 Pro to Malaysia on Oct. 21 as Price Details Await

Q: Will the shift from lightweight minimalist designs to a heavier 51g premium build alienate COROS's core racing audience?

Probably not, but it could narrow the appeal of the Pace line for some purist racers. The key point is that 51g is heavier than the standard PACE 4’s roughly 40g silicone build, but it is still light by premium multisport-watch standards. Review coverage repeatedly describes the PACE 4 Pro as unusually light for a mapping-capable titanium-and-sapphire watch, and some testers say it remains comfortable enough for daily wear and racing. That weakens the argument that COROS has abandoned performance priorities. What has changed is positioning. The standard PACE 4 remains the minimalist option: cheaper, lighter, simpler, and still strong on GPS accuracy and battery life. The Pro version appears designed for athletes who want a larger 37.3mm AMOLED display, better battery life, faster mapping, more storage, and tougher materials. For trail runners, triathletes and long-course athletes using navigation, those gains may easily outweigh an extra 11g. The real risk is brand perception. COROS built much of its reputation on light, function-first racing tools, and some road and track runners may see a bigger, pricier Pro as moving closer to Garmin- and Suunto-style premium territory. Athletes who value the smallest possible watch may stay with the regular PACE 4. So the shift is unlikely to alienate COROS’s core audience as long as the company keeps the lighter standard PACE 4 in the lineup. The Pro broadens the range upward rather than replacing the minimalist model outright.

COROS said the PACE 4 Pro endurance watch will launch in Malaysia on Oct. 21, 2026, with local pricing and full specifications to be disclosed that day.
The new model targets runners, triathletes and outdoor athletes with COROS's largest display yet and longer GPS battery life.
Titanium bezel and sapphire glass headline the build, alongside route planning, navigation and workout analysis for cycling, triathlon and hybrid training.
Those premium materials suggest a higher Malaysian price point, though COROS has not yet released official figures.
