Summary
Cade Povich underwent left elbow debridement last week to remove a loose body, with the Orioles saying the left-hander should be ready for spring training.
Dr. Keith Meister performed the procedure in Arlington, Texas; Povich disclosed it on Instagram a day before an industry source confirmed the surgery.
Baltimore expects Povich to remain in the mix among returning starters even as the club is likely to add at least 1 starter through free agency or trade.
The Orioles also re-signed 27-year-old left-hander Jayvien Sandridge to a minor league deal after an injury-hit 2026 stint at Triple-A Norfolk.
