Hyper Visor will launch on XREAL Aura as Owlchemy Labs’ new arcade blaster, turning players’ rooms into AR shooting arenas across eight levels.
XREAL Aura is Google’s official Android XR hardware partner and the first see-through AR glasses to run the platform, priced at $1,279 for 256GB and $1,499 for 512GB.
Owlchemy Labs also pledged five other XR titles for Aura at launch, including Job Simulator, Vacation Simulator, Dimensional Double Shift and Inside [JOB].
Aura remains in pre-order with no shipping date, though the trailer says Hyper Visor is “available now on XREAL AURA,” suggesting release is near.
The game is designed as a more approachable 2D-style XR experience, with Owlchemy arguing Aura’s sunglasses-like form could lower headset adoption barriers.
