Chicago Bears fan confidence climbed to 92% in SB Nation Reacts polling, rebounding sharply after Caleb Williams returned and led a 31-23 win over the Atlanta Falcons.
That marked a 37-point jump from the season-low 55% recorded after a loss to the Green Bay Packers, when backups Tyson Bagent and Case Keenum had been leading the offense.
The surge in optimism now faces an immediate test: Chicago entered Thursday night's prime-time game against the New England Patriots favored by 3 points at FanDuel.
The poll suggests Williams' return has quickly reset expectations for a Bears team whose week-to-week outlook had swung heavily with quarterback availability and results.
