Pokémon GO Launches 10-Day Thailand Event for Pokémon Center BANGKOK Opening

Q: Why is Pokémon GO launching a Thailand-wide event for Pokémon Center BANGKOK, and what rewards can Trainers still claim after December 10?

Pokémon GO is launching the Thailand-wide event to celebrate the grand opening of Pokémon Center BANGKOK and to let Trainers across the country join the occasion, even if they are not in Bangkok. The official announcement says the event is available nationwide from December 1 to December 10, 2026, with participation open from anywhere in Thailand. After the main event ends on December 10, Trainers can still claim rewards through the event’s Timed Research until December 30, 2026. Those rewards include Pokémon Center BANGKOK celebration stickers, Stardust, and other unspecified bonus items tied to the research. During the main event window, players can also collect event-themed stickers by spinning PokéStops, but the key post-December 10 benefit is the extra time to finish and redeem the Timed Research rewards. This extended availability gives players who started the research during the event more time to complete it after the broader celebration period has closed.

Thailand players can join a nationwide Pokémon GO event from Dec. 1 at 6:00 a.m. to Dec. 10 at 11:59 p.m. local time to mark the opening of Pokémon Center BANGKOK.
Timed Research will award opening-themed stickers, Stardust and other items, with the research itself remaining claimable until Dec. 30, 2026.
Event-themed stickers will also drop from spinning PokéStops, and Niantic said trainers can participate from anywhere in Thailand rather than only in Bangkok.
The promotion ties Pokémon GO gameplay to the retailer's Bangkok launch, while the company noted the event could change and urged players to follow local health guidance.
