Summary
iOS 27.2 adds Multiview to the Apple TV app on iPhone, letting users watch up to four live sports streams simultaneously with a new player button.
The feature works across sports included in an Apple TV subscription, including Formula 1, MLS and MLB, and F1 viewers can choose preset layouts or build custom screens with driver cams and course maps.
Multiview was previously limited to Apple TV, iPad and Vision Pro, making the iPhone rollout the main expansion in this update.
Apple is positioning the feature as especially useful on the larger iPhone Duo display, though testing on an iPhone 18 Pro showed all four streams could fit on screen.
