Summary
Foxconn said its global AI server market share could rise from about 40% now to 45% next year and 50% within a couple of years.
Demand is driving that push: Chairman Young Liu said AI infrastructure orders have left Foxconn's production capacity fully booked for at least the next 18 months.
The company is also broadening its U.S. footprint, starting with higher-margin products such as AI server racks and data-center equipment because American manufacturing costs remain higher.
AI infrastructure could generate 60% to 65% of Foxconn revenue in three to five years, Liu said, as the company moves deeper into servers, racks, data centers and computing services.
Liu said Foxconn may exceed its planned $3 billion-$5 billion in annual AI spending, but warned overinvestment would be dangerous if an industry-wide slowdown hits.
