TMZ Says Bill Belichick, 73, Split From JorDON Hudson, 25, in Late 2025

Q: Why was Bill Belichick’s breakup with Jordon Hudson reportedly unknown inside UNC, even as she kept appearing around the football program?

It was reportedly unknown inside UNC because the breakup appears to have been kept private and Hudson’s continued presence around Belichick and the program made it look as if nothing had changed. Multiple reports say Belichick and Hudson quietly split in late 2025, but neither publicly confirmed it and there was no clear sign of a separation. TMZ and follow-up coverage said they remained close friends and continued their business partnership, particularly around Belichick’s personal brand and image-rights work. That ongoing professional connection helps explain why Hudson was still being seen on sidelines and at football events despite having no official role with the team. UNC had previously said she was welcome at football facilities and would continue handling matters tied to Belichick’s personal brand, not football operations. Because she was still showing up at games and around the program, people inside UNC apparently had little reason to think the relationship had ended. USA Today reported that two people in the football office, including one senior staff member, said they were unaware of any breakup after the TMZ report surfaced. In short, the split seems to have stayed private, while Hudson’s visible involvement through business ties and appearances around UNC masked any change in their personal relationship.
