November 24 Supermoon Returns, Appearing 30% Brighter and 14% Larger

Summary
November 24 will bring the first supermoon since January 2026, the full beaver moon, with two more consecutive supermoons to follow after a gap of nearly 10 months.
The moon will look up to 30% brighter and 14% larger than at apogee because its orbit carries it closer to Earth than usual.
Moonrise and moonset offer the best view, when the horizon's moon illusion makes the disk seem even larger and golden-hour light can tint it orange.
November’s skywatching calendar also includes a November 2-3 moon-Mars-Jupiter alignment, Taurid and Leonid meteor-shower peaks, Mercury’s November 20 elongation and Uranus opposition on November 25-26.
