Summary
SteamOS 0.5.7 beta is now live for Steam Frame, bringing SteamVR 2.19.1 plus fixes for controller battery readouts, audio dropouts and headset tracking behavior.
SteamVR 2.19.1 targets image quality and readability, improves vibration filtering for pose prediction on some units, and lets users keep foveated sharpening active even with eye tracking turned off.
30 seconds before sleep, the headset display now dims to warn users; Valve also removed Advanced Supersampling support and kept Steam centered during the guided tour.
Frame controllers now correctly show 0% battery and add default bindings for Chromalab, Batman Arkham and Doom VFR, while Chromium 157 and newer gain WebXR support.
USB and Bluetooth speaker audio should no longer cut out when apps access the microphone, and new mic controls for echo cancellation and noise suppression require the current Steam Client Beta.
